They are my life. Other than Jesus himself, they are the clearest sign of just how much God adores me; just how treasured I am to him; just how loved I am; they are a constant reminder of how true my sonship to God is.  When I receive kisses from my queen, it is the Father giving his son a kiss. When my children embrace me, it is my elder brother holding me near. When we hold hands to pray around our meals, I am in close fellowship with the Trinity. It is a truly wonderful thing.

Because the bible is the singular unified voice of God, these passages and Luke 17 are not in contradiction, but beautifully harmonize with each other. When someone has sinned against us we must have a heart like Christ—compassionate, loving, and ready to forgive—and we should settle in our hearts that we will forgive when they repent (Mark 11:25).

Because Christ defeated death by death, the death of Charlie Kirk is not unlike the death of all martyrs—it will only grow the church. If we do not shrink, then Kirk’s death will only cause the church to hit hell’s gates even harder. So, I exhort you dear brother, I encourage you dear sister, I stir you little children, you’re Lord calls you to battle in his army for an assured victory! March on and be not afraid, for Christ, your King, is with you!

Slavery to sin is a slavery unlike any other. It is a bondage that is rivaled by no other form in any other time. It is a taskmaster that is more heinous, ruthless, relentless, conniving, deceiving, and destructive than any other that has ever or will ever exist. Sin demands more, and takes more than any slave on Earth has ever given.

The work of Christ is something that, frankly, boggles the mind; if indeed, one ponders upon it with sincerity. Grasp with me for a moment the unthinkable nature of what our Savior did for his elect. The very God who set all things as they are, with perfect purpose and power, designed to save his people.
